The DELPHI design in Fortuny’s TEATRO collection is reimagined with DELPHIA. One of its wave shapes is rescaled, giving the pattern tremendous versatility. By equalizing the two curves, the pattern becomes fully symmetrical, allowing it to be flipped, mirrored, or dropped while maintaining the organic feel of its iconic lines.
Where most wave patterns assert themselves, DELPHIA holds back. Derived from the DELPHI motif of Fortuny's TEATRO collection, the wave form has been rescaled and equalized, its two curves made perfectly symmetrical, allowing the pattern to be flipped, mirrored, or dropped without visual disruption across any installation. The medium-scale repeat gives DELPHIA tremendous technical versatility: it performs on furniture, wall panels, and drapery with equal ease, adapting its character to the scale and light conditions of the space. The result is a fabric of quiet atmospheric presence that creates mood rather than statement, shifting with the light, receding when the room calls for it.
Part of the ARMONIA collection, designed in collaboration with Chahan Minassian.

Designed with the italian touch, from start to finish. Built on the grounds of an ancient convent, the inner workings of the factory remain secret 100 years later. Our founder's will holds that the techniques used to create the iconic fabrics were never to be revealed publicly.
FORTUNY’S METHODS ARE PASSED DOWN AMONG GENERATIONS OF ARTISTS WHO CONTINUE CREATING NEW WORK WITH THE TECHNIQUES AND MACHINES FROM OUR FOUNDING.
